Sales – the sale of hardware and software via our partnership agreements with the likes of Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, VMware, IBM, Sun Microsystems, Intel, Trend Micro, Symantec, Lenovo, Cisco, Samsung, Sony, Canon and many other leading global manufacturers.

Communications – relating to all Internet services, from corporate multi-branch private IP networks to VoIP communication systems and online e-business strategies.

Our Help Desk Services can assist you either over the telephone, or via our remote access technology, in most cases within minutes. For more complex computer problems that cannot be resolved onsite, our Workshop Services enable us to utilise the latest diagnostics and testing equipment to resolve many complex IT problems.

Founder & Managing Director

With an interest in technology that began at the early age of 8, Nigel, under the guidance of his father, began experimenting with computers, programming and eventually building systems. The father-son relationship developed so well that in 1995, they decided to set up a business building and selling computer hardware in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. From humble beginnings, the business Heyntech was formed. Heyntech grew from strength to strength and quickly went on to encompass the Brisbane small business technology market within a year.

Throughout the late 1990's, Nigel continued to expand the business and recruited friends to help manage the stream of clients that quickly came his way, as a direct result of offering quality products, backed up by supreme levels of service. The dotcom boom saw the business expanding further into new areas such as custom programming services, website development and internet services.

In 2002, it was clear that the business needed to take on a truly corporate flavour, in order to encompass further growth. IT Associates was then formed with the vision set to create a company that would become one of Australia's leading information technology service providers. Its focus was offering a complete technology partnership to service all businesses with their day to day business technology needs. The past 6 years have seen IT Associates achieve great heights and true recognition in the industry as an honest, trustworthy and complete technology partner to all business - big and small.

Nigel believes IT Associates success can be attributed through the foundation mantra established from day one (which still continues today), where the best outcome for the client is always put first, regardless of profit.

Nigel is passionate about IT and he firmly believes he has only achieved 15% of where he wants IT Associates to get to, painting a bright and involved picture for the company’s future ahead. After all, as Mr Walt Disney once said, "If you can dream it, you can do it".
